Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu'nun Edebi ve Diplomatik Portresi Ulusal Sempozyumu

Fatih Belediyesi ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Türkiyat Araştırmaları Enstitüsü iş birliğiyle Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu'nun edebî ve diplomatik kişiliğini irdeleyeceğimiz “Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu'nun Edebî ve Diplomatik Portresi Ulusal Sempozyumu” 6 Aralık 2023 Çarşamba günü İstanbul Üniversitesi ev sahipliğinde düzenlenecek. Sempozyumda edebiyatçı kimliği yanında Yakup Kadri'nin siyasî ve diplomatik kariyeri üzerinde durulacak. Sempozyum modern Türk edebiyatının önemli simalarından biri olan Yakup Kadri'yi yalınkat bir edebiyatçı olmaktan öte bir siyaset ve diplomat olarak ele almayı, yazarın üslubu ve çeşitli edeî ve siyasî faaliyet ve tercihlerine ışık tutmayı ve geride bıraktığı arşivin akıbetini sorgulamayı hedefliyor. Bu bağlamda Türk akademisinin Yakup Kadri üzerine çalışan seçkin mensuplarını bir araya getirecek olan sempozyumda önemli konu ve başlıklar yetkinlikle irdelenecektir.
