“Women Rights Are Human Rights” project carried out in Nevşehir, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Trabzon, Erzurum and Kırşehir. Run by Women Centre Foundation (KAMER) in Gaziantep with the partnership of İstanbul University Faculty of Medicine Department of Forensic Medicine and Gaziantep Municipality, results of the project in Nevşehir examined in a meeting at Ahiler Kalkınma Agency

In Nevşehir step of the “Women Right Are Human Rights” project, run by KAMER in Gaziantep, effective and sustainable establishment and empowerment of effective communication between local, national and international women foundations who makes studies of brutality against women is aimed, says İU Faculty of Medicine Department of Forensic Medicine Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ayşen Ufuk Sezgin.
Prof. Dr. Sezgin emphasized that they wanted to contribute to the project which began in 1 February 2014 and lasted for 18 months to ensure gender equality to democratize Turkey and they aimed to empower local foundations who make studies of brutality against women and in this context establish new local units.
