IU Skiing And Snowboard Team Won 7 Medals








IU Skiing and Snowboard Team has shown great success by winning 7 of 12 medals in “Alp Disiplin Skiings and Snowboads Championship Between Universities” which was held in Kayseri Erciyes between the dates of 13-14th February 2016 in company with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kurtoğlu. U Skiing and Snowboard Team, which had had gained success in previous years as well, has won two first place, three second place and two third place in the championship

In Snowboard Male category, Sabri Öztürk from IU Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty has won the first place and Eyüp Çamurcuoğlu from IU Istanbul Medicine Faculty has won the second place.

In Snowboard Female category, İpek Çakır from IU Faculty of Arts has won the second place and Fatmanur Açıkgöz from Cerrahpaşa Medicine Faculty has won the third place.

In Skiing Male category Tayfun Yurdadön from The Faculty of Economics has won the first place and Emir Aydın Yaray from Faculty of Forestry has won the second place.

In Skiing Female category Şima Kılış from IU Veterinary Faculty has fron the third place.
