Department of Business Administration General Information Developments and the speed of globalization have increased the demand for qualified public and private sector personnel and managers equipped with contemporary knowledge. SBF Department of Business Administration has been established to supply this demand for professional managers. Business Administration Education given in our faculty, that hosts variety of disciplines, is aiming to give our students, the ability to look from a larger perspective, and evaluate their environments within world’s continuously changing conditions. Our education philosophy is to develop our students’ knowledge and abilities; prepare them to life and uncertainties in the future ; increase their cultural accumulation, give them the “life-time learning” approach to become a World Citizen. Our department’s scoop is to equip our graduates with abilities to fulfil their future parts in public and private sectors on domestic and international grounds.
Since organizations are one of the fundamentals of General Economy, our business administration department’s education programme, weaves the principles of business administration into the principles of economics. This approach aims for the organizational decision making to be more efficient within the developing affairs around the rules of the general economy. The expert business administration knowledge is built on this basic economics knowledge. It is aimed to enhance the professional culture along with the professional knowledge in order to give the long term competition advantages.
Coursework enhances students’ scientific research skills by simulations, cases, and industrial/organizational based project supports.
Job Opportunities for Graduates SBF Business Administration graduates can be employed at every area of public and private sectors in domestic and international grounds. In public sector, our graduates can be employed at industrial and merchandise companies, and other companies. In public sector, our graduates can be employed at Banks, Treasury, Capital Market Institution, Court of Accounts, Central Bank, and any public institution that can be applied with Public Personnel Exam (KPSS).
Research Opportunities Research opportunities are given within the affairs supplied between the department and Non-Government Organizations, public and private sectors.
