Library
In order to make knowledge accessible, Istanbul University organizes and continually updates its modern library system within the framework of the Central Library. Access to both new and ancient data begins at the faculty of origin for each student, and is furthered at the Central Library situated on the Beyazyt Campus. The Rare Masterpieces and Museum Department of the Central Library, affiliated to the Directorate of Libraries and Documentation, is situated in a historic building on this campus.
The Istanbul University Central Library was made computer-based after 1994. Alongside the Central Library, Library of Faculty of Economics has been equipped to function both on a nationwide and international basis.
