The aim of the school is to train administrators,
teachers and coaches representing modern sports
attitudes, and to enhance participation in sporting
activities. Training takes eight terms (four years).
There is a one-year voluntary preparatory course
in English language learning.
Students are accepted to the school following
written and oral examinations. Candidates are
evaluated on general familiarity with sports and
physical skills. All students are now being trained
as coaches. The Department of Sports Management
will come into effect in the 2001-2002 academic
year. All students participate in team sports as
players or coaches. Work is in progress for an
educational partnership with Salzburg University.
