Hasan Ali Yücel Teacher Training Fac. This is the most recently established faculty of the university. Hasan Ali Yücel is the name of a Minister of Education who instigated great reforms in national education. Alongside training teachers for primary education, the faculty also offers graduate courses, with or without the obligation of thesis writing, and doctorate programmes to train academic staff for teacher training faculties. A number of scientific studies on the educational problems of the country are being conducted by our academic staff and the procedings being published in Turkish and foreign journals. Within the framework of the Department of Primary Education (Classroom Teaching, Teaching Sciences, Primary School Mathematics Teaching and Teaching Social Sciences), the Department of Education in Turkish (Teaching Turkish), the Department of Foreign Languages Education (Teaching English, German and French) and the Department of Educational Sciences (Guidance and Psychological Counseling), the faculty offers training in nine undergraduate subjects and profers diplomas in these fields.   The Hasan Ali Yücel Teacher Training Fac.
