![]() This 5 days scientific Workshop will be held in Akyarlar, Bodrum in southwest of Turkey between October 10th to 14th, 2010. Prof. Panos Kostarakis and his team started this bi-annual event in Crete Island, Greece, in 2000, marking the start of the Millennium. The flag then carried on to Rhodes, Kos and back to Crete. The latest one was in Sicily in 2008. The Workshop is aimed to cover all areas of EMF from basic research, experimental results, modeling and simulation, policy, safety and standardization and much more. The Workshop offers a unique opportunity to bring together all involved parties active in the field of Electromagnetic Radiation. The multidisciplinary area of research comprises Researchers, Engineers, Professors, Students, Medical Scientists, Public authorities, Ecologists, Consultants, Public health Workers and Developers from academic fields, and industries. This event offering to this multidisciplinary audience the ideal forum to exchange ideas, share research results, aim at new targets. The Workshop represents an ideal and peaceful bridge between people of different cultures and Countries on the shores of Mediterranean Sea. Mediterranean has always been from age to age a crossroad of civilization and a main route for cultural exchanges. Turkey mostly placed on Asia Minor, inherits a rich culture from tens of civilizations reflecting a unique Mediterranean atmosphere. The Workshop participants will have an opportunity not only to attend an excellent workshop, but also to enjoy fabulous and rich cuisine of Turkey. The living site of Halicarnassus (one of the seven wonders), Celsus Library in ancient city of Ephesus, House of Virgin Marry are all within the reach of our workshop guests. Tunaya Kalkan IMPORTANT : There will be an application for financial support from TÜBİTAK(The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) for the young researchers(under 35 years old) who have presentation on 6th International Workshop on Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Field. If the application is accepted accommodation fees of the young researchers will be returned.
